Worth visiting even though we only managed to view 4 gigantic trees as a section of the walk was closed to visitors because of the typhoon a few months back. Air was very fresh and the walk was easy. Such magnificent views of the matured trees and fresh air. Not many visitors as it was not the peak time to... More

Cool, crisp mountain air. Grand old ancient trees, some of them are centuries old standing dead trees, hence the name sacred trees. Waterfalls. Easy trail for walking. Saw a group of seniors hiking their way here. There's a small visitor information centre here. However, due to typhoon destruction, inner part of the forest is currently not accessible to the public.

Nice and relaxing environment with views of river, mountain and the big trees. A recommended getaway from the busy and hectic city centre. A great place to look at Sakura trees too.

"Lala" means beautiful in the aborigine language, and Lala mountain surely has the breathtaking views. Walking among the ancient big trees, crossing the streams, listening the birds sing, watching the cloud passing by, all these are really relaxing experiences.

Lala Mountain Nature Reserve was way better than Ali Mountain Nature Reserve in my opinion. This place is not that well known to tourists yet hence the walk through the reserve was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. There were over 20 trees that was being marked out and they were all over thousand years old. Good to wear cross trainers and... More

The main attraction here are giant trees, great place for trees lovers, some trees can be studied at close range. However, difficult to access without a car.

It's an eye opening experience to see giant trees so close up and personal. The surrounding air is also very refreshing.

A fantastic walk to see the huge trees, many waterfalls and streams. Totally relaxing. If you are quick enough, you will also spot some birds.
