I have not visited the museum in Arusha but contacted the team via their website to buy a tanzanite stone. The whole experience has been excellent and the sale team was very professional & friendly. This is one of the few online shops that is listed in the Tanzanite Foundation as reputable retailer to buy ethical tanzanite.

Had a great trip here, very informative tour, they don't rush you and you can ask as many questions as you want. I learned a lot about Tanzanite and other minerals found in this area. I did purchase two pieces of jewellery one I was later disappointed with as I found much nicer cheaper options elsewhere on my trip. However,... More

I visited the Tanzanite Experience last January, we had a nice tour explaining how the Tanzanite gems are mined and how they are cut, and we could also look at the stones and the jewels for sale. The employees were all very kind and I would have liked very much to buy a ring with a Tanzanite, but my credit... More

We visited the Tanzanite Experience to view their tanzanite museum and look into purchasing a tanzanite gemstone. The museum was very interesting. The museum discussed the geology of Tanzanite and showed the processes from mining through gem cutting. There is no fee to tour the museum and it is definitely interesting. They have a large selection of cut tanzanite gemstones... More

It is nice to see places that that actually want to make the best out of local specialities. Tanzanite is only found around Arusha/Moshi, but most is exported as raw to Kenya, India and China for processing. Tanzanite Experience wants to change this and has developed an exhibition about this gem stone and cutting facilities. Worth seeing!

This was a nice attraction to spend one or two hours at. The tanzanite is such a beautiful blue stone and it is hard to imagine they will no longer be available in 20 or so years. At Tanzanite Experience they stones and finished jewelry for any budget. Beautiful pieces!
