A huge crater with lots of the animals you would hope to see on a safari. We visited as part of a multi-day safari package.

It is a wonderful landscape and less crowded. We had a wonderful view to the Kilimanjaro and stayed at the bottom of Mt Meru.

This is a must see if you are on safari with many animals and beautiful scenery. You really get a feel for the wild and natural environment of Africa. The animals are free and you are the one in the "cage" (vehicle).

Sorry about the phonetics. However, an absolute masterclass in nature. The crater sits in the Arusha National at about 5000ft. Truly astonishing and breathtaking views from the crater rim will allow spectacular views if the buffalo grazing inside the crater. No trip to Arusha National...More

This place is so magical! We stay at the hotel on the rim and able to view the whole plain and the mist that rise in the morning. The wild lifes in the plain is priceless.

There was no wildlife in the crater when we visited, but it is still an interesting place to see. Forests surrounding the crater have many black and white colobus monkeys.

Nice Park to start a safari trip. Ne predators, so you are allowed here to get out of the car. Also recommend to take a hike with the ranger of approx 2hrs. He brings you very close to Giraffes etc.

I used African Brothers. I panned the trip for almost a year and they were very knowledgeable and the price was more then fair, I have no hesitancy in recommending them.
