Cha-am beach is not one of the gulf coast's finest. The beach itself is quite narrow, practically disappearing in some places at high tide. The stretch north of the town square is a bit wider than the southern stretch. The water is quite murky, with...More

While the beach was nice and clean, the area was pretty boring. Also, the crowd isn’t exactly family friendly. Lots of loud bars that have people sing (terrible) karaoke until 2 am. Mostly older western men. Not a lot of families. Not much to do.

We really enjoyed relaxing at the Cha-am beach. It was much more relaxed than the beaches in nearby Hua Hin. Most of the tourists were Thai. We loved the relaxed atmosphere.

Go just to say you've been there. Not really for a family holiday. A bit forbidding and over whelming

Very nice beach to walk along when tide is out. Not too crowded, even on weekends. Food stalls all over the place.

This is our second time in Cha am and we love to walk along this beautifully kept beech. Lots of street venders and sights to see at all time of the day or night.

To me, Cha-Am is the best beach of Hua Hin. Unlike Pattaya, it is clean, wide, stretched for a long distant and family friendly. Though it offers number of usual beach activities but still it is not much crowdy. The area has got lots of...More
