Nice visit with the family, beautiful building which is under construction at the moment. Fortunately we went with a guide so got a lot out of it. Worth a trip if you like history and architecture.

The renovations are due to be completed by June, but this is Thailand, and time means nothing. I suggest you check again closer to your travel time.

Dogs are not permitted in the grounds, and that includes "handbag" pooches.
