Beautifully crafted architecture, unlike the rest of the temples in Chiang Rai. White plaster lined with mirror pieces makes for eye catching style.

If you decide to come here I suggest preparing yourself with the knowledge that this is an art exhibit more than anything else. So, like a lot of art exhibits, there’s a gift shop at the end and people taking lots of photos (aka selfies)....More

Went to visit the white temple as it was a highly recommended attraction. While the design and art was beautiful, it was too touristy. Not worth the time and effort all the way from Chiang Mai. Do it if you’re passing by.

A must see attraction in Chiang Rai, third time there and just this last time they implemented a maintenance fee of from what we remember around 50bahts. Every time I go have more and more tourists, so the fee is a needed... More

The White temple is not at Chiang Mai its at Chiang Rai a little over 3 hours away. I would recommend you take the government bus to Chiang Rai and from there take a taxi. The government bus has 3 classes, take the highest... More
