Great place to stop for relaxing and refreshing as well as a nice long soak of your tired feet. There is a choice of eating places and souvenir shops.

It was very nice in the small pools. I wonder why no one else was using that service though. And we were sure it was clean because they filled them up just for us.

Could tourists please learn to read a map. This is Pha Soet Hot Springs in the mountains opposite the elephant camp, not Wang Pa Pao on the road from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai which is a tourist rip off. What more could you want? A hot spring bathing pool, hot spring water to bathe your tired feet in, private... More

We went there on our way to see the black house and the white temple. The travel agency sold the hot springs as an interest place but it was nothing more than a fountain in a parking lot. The fountain was not even natural but artificial. We were quite disappointed.

Nothing but an artificial hot spring with the smell of rotten egg looming the air. Definitely not worth the visit as it's just a car park at the end of the day.

We arrived aound 9am and there were already many tourists. Like us, they made a quick stop before going to Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle. We had the opportunity to soak our feet in one of the hot spring well, while eating very sweet sliced pineapple. Nothing special but worth visiting because the place is neat and clean - well-kept.

Interesting to watch people cooking their eggs in little baskets, and also their meals, in the hot springs. A small geyser is here as well. Lots of market stalls selling their wares. This is a short toilet break stop on the long drive from Chiang Mai on the way to Chiang Rai anfd beyond,

This place usually serves a stopover on the way from Chiang Mai to Chaing Rai for most all tour companies. It's nice and warm near the springs and we got to see people selling small baskets of varied eggs as well as bamboo shoots which we can boil ourselves for about 20 baht I think. A few more shops around... More
