Eating here is fun, although can be difficult to get a table (took us almost 10 minutes of hunting). Clay hot pot is good, if that's your thing. The wares on offer were fairly typical, although we didn't go through every section. Other than food...More

Adjacent to the main bus station in Chiang Rai. Lots of market stalls selling all sorts of souvenirs and food. I didn't try the food (I'd just eaten) and I'm travelling light so I didn't buy any souveniers. There's also a live Thai music performance...More

Unlike other markets I’ve been to, no one is trying to pull you in and force you to buy things that you don’t want at expensive prices, it’s lovely and calm, majority of stalls have set prices, amazing quality products being sold, it’s a great...More

Chiang Rai night bazaar has a great food court, with nightly entertainment but the stalls themselves are all quite generic - once you've seen a few stalls, you've seen them all. Best to visit the Saturday and Sunday night walking markets instead if your visit...More

Night Bazaar was just okay. It is much smaller than the Saturday night market and food court had the same food at different booths.

Has alot of food and many things to buy. Really cheap cold bear, hot pot food, grilled and fryed seafood. Just a peaceful and nice place to finish off the day in Chiang Rai.

The night mkt opens 7 days a week from 6pm to 11pm. There are plenty of street vendors selling from good products to food. There are other restaurants and Thai culture dancing. Small night mkt. The good products you can negotiate the price.

I've been to the night markets in Phuket, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai and now Chiang Rai, this location is the best of the 4. Cheaper items, more willing to haggle, friendlier crowds, lots of cheap but good tasting food in the "food court"
