Fascinating to see 3 countries from one spot. Great drive up there as scenery superb and you can go on a longboat and visit Myanmar or Laos if you like or just go up the Maekong

This is a nice place to stop during a tour and check out the countries that form The Golden Triangle. However, it is just that - a pit stop in a small village with some stalls and other touristy monuments to look at. If that...More

This one is a must experience place where 3 countries meet over a radius of 200m. Must history in this area good and bad and you can see why. Take a tour or it's an hour or so drive from the city.

You must go here when in the area to see the area of the golden triangle. There is lots of history here and of course good photos. You can take boats trips along the river. There are a few local traders here

We liked it, had the boat tour and a lunch Remember your passport if you go on a boat tour The tourist shops around are cheaper than down town Chiang Rai and people friendlier than expected in such a touristy place.

i like the view there, better to view from the top of the small hill where you can see more clearly about the golden triangle between the 3 countries. There are some stalls there too, surprisingly the pricing is not expensive, I bought some souvenirs...More
