Reach the temple at 12pm and no tourists at all. The temple is not well maintain. Can see a lot of bird poop on the Buddha. Nothing much there. Advice to skip this attraction Only 3km away from city center.

One of the most prominent temple around in Hat Yat. The place was well kept and clean. Do go in through the back and there is a small temple inside / underneath the main statue.

Nothing much to see. Just pray and take some pics of the sleeping Buddha. Spent 10 min here and off we go to the next place.

With the size it projects, the Buddha was so huge that even to climb it, you need to rappel. The details to Buddha was not that much. The Buddha is more of a smiling one rather than a serious or in meditating state. The place was huge considering there was a mausoleum in the bottom. I don't like to enter mausoleum... More

If you come to Hatyai, you need to visit this place. No entry fee, place is clean, you can pray if you want, or ask blessing from the monks

Very small but worth the walk or songtow over. The reclining Buddha is incredible to look at and one of the largest in the world.

I am a regular visitor to this temple. It's very convenient as it is along the way from the airport to town. Once you enter the temple premises, you can feel the tranquility compared to the chaos on the road outside. The sleeping Buddha is reputed to be the third largest in the world. Always feels good to spend some... More
