Nothing much. Mostly repeated boats selling almost similar food. Area is not huge. Some food can't be found at other places but most can be found everywhere else.

If you are in Hat Yai on a weekend, I recommend coming to to Khlong Hae Floating Market for the experience. Food was great ranging from skewers to boat noodle. Make sure you arrive from later afternoon onwards.

Variety of food to try and so good! We went during the holiday season so it was kinda crowded and the weather was hot too in the evening. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food and the market.

Positives: 1. Many stalls selling food & souvenirs. 2. Paid parking spaces provided. Negatives: 1. Too crowded & too hot. 2. Repetitive items sold at floating market. 3. Some hawkers selling food while smoking.

Located just 15mins outside the city centre is the so-called floating market...it’s more like foods stalls on a well-organized line of boats parked at the edge of one side of a river bank. Worth a trip.. the variety of food is enough to keep you...More
