My son and I took a scooter and drove to the Temple. It is around 20 km from center of Hua Hin. It is really impressive.

Nice experience, worth a visit but not a place I would go back to unless was asked to go to show family or friends

Beautiful and enormous monk! We rent a scooter to go there and we were really happy to see this enormous statue, it's really something you have to see! And it's amazing when the sun go down in the back of the statue !

Visited this by accident as we were driving around Hua hin and on the way to the vineyards when we came across this attraction. Nice to visit and pay respects with some interesting statues of elephants.

We hired a tuk-tuk and made the fairly short trip to the temple. It is very inspiring and beautiful. You can spend quite some time looking around and there are places where you can get something to eat or gab a great coffee. Great place to visit away from the beach.

Spent a few hours here, and although I'm not overly religious, it was a lovely experience there's ample facilities and parking, good places to eat or just get snacks and plenty of sellers of religious items, it's a great place to visit for an hour or do,

We visited this Buddha with some Thai friends. The drive from town was interesting. The actual site was very crowded as it is a major attraction. Getting around was not too difficult but there are many steps to climb. There is a lake where you can feed the large fish. Lots of stalls selling gifts.

We visited around midday and the place was extremely busy, which in itself is not too surprising as this is one of the top attractions for Hua Hin. However we looked around and didn't find much that was interesting. I think 1 hour here is more than enough.

After leaving Regent Cha-am Beach Resort, our destination was Hua Hin, the welknown beach town for both local and foreign tourists. And Hua Hin wasn't far from Cha-am District. When we drove to Hua Hin, we would visit 'HuayMongkol Temple'(วัดห้วยมงคล) before check-in at Chom View Hotel. On the way to the temple, we had the lunch at Nong May, a... More
