The panoramic view of Hua Hin alone is worth the climb up to the top of the temple. Nothing much else to do here except observing the large crowd of monkeys but do be wary of them and keep your small bags hidden or in the car.

Easy to get there from the city centre by the green car taxi and very reasonable. A great spot to have lunch as well, beautiful beach there and great to see the Standing Buddha and all of the monkeys.

The view is lovely from the top. Very serene. Lots of monkeys and dogs (be careful haha). It's a very peaceful place, more so if you are Buddhist and have come to pray. I think you can even get a thai massage at a little section. A very nice experience.

Worth spending an hour here. Nice to see the monkeys, and the views are great. Its east to get to. Just get a Tuk Tuk its not very far out of town.

The good are the views and scenery at the top of the hill. The bad is the neglect feeling about the place. When you have climbed to the top you need to be wowed and excited about the place. Only wow was the scenery. The ugly were the monkeys everywhere and stray old dogs. Please please tidy up the place.... More

I came here a few years ago when it was thriving. Shocked to see the change in the place. It seems almost derelict now, doesn't look like any money has been spent on it since I last came. I went down to the steps for the Buddha statue amd there was so much litter and broken glass around. Shame it... More

Always visit when in Hua Hin, great to walk along the beach to it if tide is out and watch the monkeys swimming in the sea. Need to be a little fit if walking to the top but well worth the trouble with the chance to see some of the monks.

The temple and the bells at the top are nice, and the view is lovely. However, it feels really run down at the bottom, like it's no longer a religious site and now just a tourist spot. The monkeys are everywhere, so be prepared if you are scared of hundreds of monkeys on the loose! Monkeys are eating out of... More

The big buddha statue is the only nice thing about this place. Too much overrated. A very dirty place. Only redeeming factor is the view of the Hua Hin coastline from the top .The buildings are dilapidated. There is a Thai massage centre mid way to the top. The entrance to the shrine depends on the sea tide, passing through a... More

If you need an excuse to get out of your resort in or near Hua Hin, this temple provides it, but don't expect too much. Yes, there are monkeys roaming the grounds, which is an interesting novelty for a few minutes at most. However you don't want to get too close to them because they can be aggressive and unpredictable...... More
