Good for a morning walk, swim or just a lazy day. Clean and not crowded. We did not see any of jelly fish we were warned about.
I have visited the north and south of Thailand, but never this in between part. I found it expensive with a sub par beach. The sea is dark grey and not inviting. Some interesting markets seemed mostly local. Western prices prevail.
The beach is clean and perfect for a morning walk (we normally go Sunday). Different type of restaurants is available on the beach, jet ski, banana boat and sofa boat (i think :D).
The beach is great to stroll the waters edge or sunbathe. Best take and use plenty of sun cream so you don't burn. There are plenty of places not too far away to get refreshments or a meal.
