I did a full day tour to Hong lagoon, Hong beach and two islands more for 1100 Baht. IT was a pitty we just sailed trough the lagoon and didn't snorkel.

This place is one of the better beaches, clean with good toilet facility and a basic restaurant. Lots of tree shades as well.
Do remember to take a life jacket and snorkel as these are not easily available on the island.

Stung by jelly fish twice in the water. The life guards have vinegar on hand.
The water wasn't very clear although there are many fishes.

Among all the 17 famous beaches one visits in phuket and krabi - Hong deserves an extra special mention for the cave canoeing and very friendly people (canoe owners) who have fantastic and interesting tales to tell.!!

We did a tour with a bunch of islands and Hong Island was included. It was a nice trip but if we were to do it again we would spend a whole day at Hong Island. It's beautiful and big and worth to stay a day. Have fun!
