The small (you can easily walk around in 20 minutes) lake is essentially the center of Mae Hong Son. Two of the main sights (two temples) are directly at the shore of the lake. In the evening there are many food stalls around the lake....More

The small lake is one of the most pleasant locations in town, especially at night with the thriving night market and food stalls.

This lake is so romantic in the evening for a stroll. It is small and beautiful. You can enjoy dinner lakeside on the walking street.

Right in the middle of MHS town, this lake is a local recreation ground with a designated footpath around and a beautiful - at night illuminated - temple on its side.

Beautiful little town lake, definitely worth a wander. The twin Wats reflect in the water giving a good photo opportunity. Nice paved walkway around.

Relaxing and beautiful atmosphere for such a small lake. The view of the wat at night was gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting and watching the world go by. The surrounding mountains can also be seen.
