Just been to the market,sampled some lovely food....only thing that put me off was seeing a couple of extremely large rats, but then again with so much food and waste around what do you expect, there's always McDonald's across the road :)

Vibrant colours and smells in this lively market. Plenty of fresh (live) Seafood and fresh produce on offer as well as amazing spices and chilli & curry pastes. Walking around speaking with vendors was lovely. Great place to explore and get a great feed.

Yes, they have local spices,but I'm not sure which prices are, but they are certainly not expensive.

As in all markets all over the world, it opens early in the morning and by late morning, most of the 'market' stall will be closed however the fresh seafood, fruits and some food stall will still be open until late evening... More
