My partner and I chose this cooking school because the food in the restaurant was so good. We chose to do the class where you learn 3 different dishes each. We were the only 2 people in the class and thought this would make it more personalised. The class started with basic etiquette on Thailand. We had told the teacher... More

This was one of my to do things in Thailand and I had a good time doing it. I was joined in the class I took, 3 hour 3 dishes (1700Baht), by a father and daughter from New Zealand on their second class which combined to all of us learning more than if we had gone individually. the class starts... I booked to cook 2 dishes which I love.......larb gai salad and thai beef salad. It was meant to be a 2 hour lesson but lasted less than an hour which included explanations of the herbs and spices and some thai etiquette etc etc. The guy got us to do some stupid singing " put, put , put, .....tuk tuk... Four of us took the three hour course where we did three dishes. We got to choose which ones we wanted to do, so you get to do the foods you actually like. The instructor was very enthusiastic and helpful. They let us taste and learn about the different sauces, herbs and other ingredients. Definitely do not eat before going,... More

We really enjoyed the cooking class at Pum's restaurant. Well presented with a very lively host. Good helpful information for replicating these flavours at home and we finished up with a sensational lunch! Recommended.

We did the class where you get to choose 2 dishes to cook. Our instructor was very good at multi tasking as we were 8 students cooking various dishes at the same time, and she was giving instructions to everyone at once! Both dishes that we cooked were very nice, but I would have liked a little more instruction on... More

Had a 1.5 hour cooking class here with my kids (aged 7 & 9) and it was excellent! The staff are friendly and accommodating. We visited the evening before to book the class and the staff gave us some recommendations. We got to meet Pum and she was super friendly! Our cooking teacher was from the Philipines but he was... Had a great time at Pum's and it was the best day out I had in my 10 day trip in Phuket. A must do. You won't regret it. Met some great people and since I've been home I have cooked only Thai food thanks to Pum's

It turns out that the best food we've had is the time we cooked it ourselves! What a great experience, R2D2 taught us all we needed to know about making a beautiful Thai green curry and some soup. We had a good time making and eating our food, well worth the money it was so fresh you could taste everything!

Did a days cooking course here. Paid extra for one on one tuition, and spent a thoroughly enjoyable day. Learned about different spices, then made, and ate, a number of various dished from the recipe book that comes with the course.
