Lovely place on hill. Kids loved it (9 and 6). Very hot though as on high hill. Very interesting place. Monkeys no problem did not come near us at all. Worth a visit if in area. Amazing views. Cover knees and shoulders

Definetely a must-see, beautiful temples, views and winding paths. I recommend going there! On the downside: The decision to put loudspeakers playing elevator jazz everywhere deducts significantly from the serenity of the place (if anything, traditional Thai music or Buddhist chanting would be much more appropiate). Climbing the stairs to the various sights can be quite exhausting in the heat... More

This palace is the main attraction on the town. It's well taken care and well organised. The place is clean and there are lots of trees on the mountain. You can either walk up there or take the cable car. However, the fee for foreigners are much higher than locals.

Definitely worth going to see this series of buildings atop the hill. Fair bit of walking between each building and a lot of steps. Great views over surrounding area.

Caught the cable car to the top of the mountain and was surprised by how lovely the gardens were. There was a lot of walking but the view was lovely and the various buildings and temples made it worthwhile. Would recommend.

One of the best place seen in Thailand. It's a long walk but it was worth it. The panorama from the Stupa is really great. Consider at least 3hrs to see all the place

We had a guide from the hotel, so we avoided all payments and negotiations that other reviewers talk about. Its summer so its not busy, but once up the top via the cable car, the cool mountains breezes made it obvious why they built the summer palace here, it was lovely and cool standing in the windows with the breeze... You see this complex of palaces and temples on the hillside when you are driving on petchkasem road in petchaburi. If by car, it is not easy to find the entrance being tourist because suddenly all the signs are only in that language. Once found, we took the cable car up. A nice little palace has been furnitured as a... More

It's a nice view, not crowded, with some historical buildings. There is a cable car going up, which helps to avoid the aggressive monkeys if you walk. The now typical two price rip-off policy with foreigners paying 5 to 7 times the thai price, depending if you choose walking or cable car.

Situated near a cave. Wasnt expecting to stop by but was on my way back to the freeway and saw a "cable car" sign. Figured there must be something around. Stopped and parked and decided to chk it out. Entrance fee is 200b. The cable car ride up only took 2 mins. Didnt know what to expect since all the... More
