This small beach is not bad off season but when it is full it is just too small. The beach looks nice with the rocks and all but there are hardly any spots to go in the water in a rockless area. Does not compare to Nai Harn let alone Kata or Kata Noi or Karon beach.

What a great little beach, small, but for the most part shallow, really good snorkelling to the left side. Even better if you rent a kayak, and paddle the short distance to the island opposite. Some shade at the back of the beach, but no singers, so you have to lay on the sand, bring a brolly etc.
Reasonably tidy. Best,I found, to take a short stop there, maybe a couple of hours, snorkel or swim for an hour, dry off for an hour, then grab a drink....there are a couple of pretty good restaurants behind the beach, in which you can relax, and soak up the thai give !!

It's really great, near Promthep Cape. Go in the morning, there aren't many people, it's peaceful, there are shops, the water is clear, but the waves are quite strong. You can snorkel from the beach and kayaking. Every time I go to Phuket, I must not miss this beach.

Very nice little beach. Snorkeling possible and canoe trips also possible. Lots of people from midday but still possible to enjoy this beach. Be careful though of pilferage, not from Thais but from tourists who do not hesitate to help themselves.

My favourite beach in Phuket. Lovely and quiet. Small beach. Snorkeling is great, loads of beautiful fish. Rent a kayak and snorkel for 100 bhat. There are jelly fish though so I had to get out after an hour as I was being stung! Doesn't hurt bad though. A couple of cute local, authentic restaurants across the road.

We drove our rental car to Windmill Viewpoint and to Yanui Beach. There are small parking lot at the beach. We paid 20 Baht at the private parking lot opposite the beach. The beach is small and beautiful and good for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. The beach was crowded at 11 am. You could rent kayaks to go to the nearby island in 15 minutes. The water was clean.

We made a beach hopping tour and Ya Nui Beach was a part of it. It's a really nice beach with a view point above it, but there weren't sunbeds for rent and the seaside is rocky, but it is ideal place if you like snorkeling. Crowded in the shadow.

Lovely peaceful quiet beach.
Amazing drive here and what a lovely beach with the sea being so beautiful and peaceful here.
Not too packed lots of places to relax and some bars and places to eat just opposite the beach.
Take an umbrella as the sun can be brutal. Not too many boats here and a must visit

Stunning beach spoiled by oil/tar. Apparently a cargo ship dropped waste contaminated by petroleum and the blobs of oil are all over the water, beach, and anything you touch. It took hours to try and get chunks of oil out of the grooves of my shoes…any non black clothing or shoes are completely ruined. Every beach we went to yesterday had the same problem. I can’t believe we let this happen to the planet.

This is most likely the cleanest & calmest of all beaches in Phuket. This is a small beach with rocks all around and hence the waters are always calm. That makes it a great siting point for corals, fish as well as baby sharks- all in abundance and almost on the beach. It’s a great beach for snorkling. There are shops which rent snorkling gear as well as kayaks at 100 bath each and there are a couple of good cafés across the road where you can take a shower and grab a bite too. In all a great place to spend a day.

Written December 31, 2022
a mon avis vous vous trompez de plage .. celle la est tres facile d acces et est proche de la route, celle qui pose problème en scooter c est celle a la sortie de patong , la pente en scooter est tres tres raide , a 2 sur le scooter c est impossible ...

hi
Are there any sunbeds with umbrellas to hire on Ya Nui beack
Thanks
Written September 14, 2018
Sorry I’m probably answering this way too late but no, Yanui is a very basic beach, not touristy so no sun beds, parasols etc. But that’s part of its charm.

Hi, may I know if there is a booth to rent snorkelling gear at Ya Nui Beach, and how much do they charge? Thank you!

Karon è collegatissima: partono decine di mezzi... ma se vi va potete andare in scooter senza problemi, se scaricate le mappe è molto semplice.
I bus o i tuc-tuc arrivano ovunque

Hi. I'm wondering this beach has public restroom or place to wash ourselves? Changing our clothes after snorkeling?
Written December 19, 2017
