This safari was recommended by Meena who sold us the tickets for the elephant tracking. Very nice lady we met at Karon beach.
The site was easy to find. Saw the young elephant tired up. I understand they had snakes there as well which my husband saw.
It was both exciting and scary but the guy guiding the elephant was ok. Paid him 100 baht for him to take our photos.
The elephant are huge but once you get over the height you can enjoy the ride.
It's good that they have water to wash after the ride and they give you some complimentary water.

We didn't really have a nice time there ,beside seeing the baby elephant that was trained and so cute, The place was a pretty average experience for us .for some reason we just didn't connect with the place. therefore we didn't spend much time there as well. It might have been because the adult elephants looked tired and were chained up. so at the end my girlfriend cried because the baby elephant wasn't with its mother.

Came here as a part of a booked tour from Mintita Travels. This was our second stop for the day post the visit to Karon View Point. The place is not well maintained, however the birds and animals state looked ok, not that great compared to the Safari World in Bangkok.
The elephant ride cost approx 500THB per person and if you want to click pics with the parrots 🦜, it would cost you 100THB. Same prices for the pic with baby elephant 🐘 and to feed them, 100THB each.
They also have ATV rides, did not check for the prices though due to limitation in time (sorry);however the ATV looked like a better option that the rest.
Forgot to mention that it also had the monkey 🐒 and snake 🐍 shoe displayed. However, did not go for the same.
Ok to miss this place if you are on a short trip. You will find multiple similar places in Phuket; maybe better ones!

Family quad ride in the jungle of Phuket. Breathtaking landscapes. We were able to take great photos. Our guide was really great, very professional and listened to us throughout the walk. On our return we were served water and fruit.

Almost walked out before getting on the elephant after watching the keeper in front strike the elephant on the head with a wooden stick to get it to move.
As I entered I wondered why the baby elephant had a wooden stick hanging from its ear. Also how the wooden stick was suspended? The elephants have holes cut in their ears for this purpose and the stick is hooked through it. The keepers use the stick to strike the elephant on the side of the head to get it to move.
Paid for an hour trek and after 20mins we, my girlfriend and I, asked to go back. The only reason we stayed this long was because my girlfriend had been looking forward to seeing the elephants so much.
Go to a sanctuary, other friends did, where the animals are actually cared for and loved. Places like this are only out to make money from tourists and the elephants are only used as a means to an end.
Really sad experience I would not recommend this to anyone that actually cares about animals.

I went here on a half day tour with another company. We had the option to ride the elephant and I opted out. The state the elephants were in. The mother elephant (who was chained up) and baby elephant were inside a tiny concrete box. What really upset me the most was when I saw a couple of staff members who were riding the elephants, aggressively hit the poor things on the head (with a picket?) to make it "behave". Anyone who reads this, do not come here!!

My husband and I decided to take our baby on an elephant trek on a recent trip to Phuket. When we arrived at Phuchada, we were horrified to see a baby elephant chained up at the entrance in clear distress, weaving from side to side. It was like this for our entire visit to this place and some people from our resort reported the same the next day. It was lonely, bored and distressed. I wrote to Phuchada when I got back and expressed my concerns and they dismissed my email, saying that "this was normal"...it clearly was not normal for an animal to behave in such a distressed manner. Furthermore, the guide on our trek was bored and rude. Not a good experience at all - I really guide against supporting this business which exploits their animals.

We visited there today to do an elephant trek, monkey show and ATV safari. It was booked through another agent who we used for the airport transfer however this experience was awful. The 30 min elephant trek was around a dust bowl and finished off with the handler trying to sell us bracelets whilst on the elephant. Once off we were subjected to a poor monkey playing with a coconut, urinating whilst standing up, picking some numbers and finally throwing a basket ball through a hoop. After that treat we were put on the atvs. This was the worst part. After 10 minutes of our 30 minute safari we gave up. The quads didn't run properly and kept cutting out. The first one kept pulling to the left as I think the wheel was bent and the second was no better as the steering was loose and the brakes awful. The tyres were bald and the whole time saw us riding around a dirt track as per elephant experience. Hardly a safari. We paid 2400 baht for the 2 of us Inc collection from the hotel. Not worth it...hence avoid..

We came here as a part of a Phuket city tour. Disgusting! The baby elephant was on a tiny tiny chain with whip marks on its fave. Another adult elephant chained up and ready to ride. These animals belong in a sanctuary. We spent a day with elephants in a sanctuary and it's amazing getting to be with them while they're free and happy! Not chained and abused. Please go to a sanctuary and don't give these people money to abuse animals

We had this as part of a sight seeing tour and as suspected it was a sad place to be.
The infant elegant on entry is chained by the foot to a 2 metre length of chain. It is on an enclose so why not let it be free. One guy was trying to train it why people weren’t around but WE were. We saw this guy hit the baby over the head a couple of times. Shameful!!!!
The monkeys weren’t on show but we saw how they were kept.
All in small cages!!
Please don’t go to this place and support their money making at the expense of these poor animals
