I love this place. I’m gutted I’m 30km away. Talk about tranquility. Pretty much get an oasis to yourself. Well worth the trip

I stayed at the Marriot in Mai Khao and the beach there is the tropical paradise you have been thinking of. Beautiful long stretches of beach with hardly anyone on them! Perfect! Don’t swim as the hotels advise there are box jelly fish here. Enjoy!

Truly amazing beach with peace of mind and not crowded. Clean and white sands. In the evening watching the sunset is breathtaking. You will see crabs around sands. The overall amazing beach area.

Beautiful beach with fantastic sunsets. Wide stretch of soft light sand and lots of restaurants etc along the main road beside it. The water is lovely and warm and it hnst been crowded on a couple of visits. The only shame is that there is...More

This is a relatively quiet beach with a good ambience. I would like to take issue with another recent reviewer. It is not disgusting. There is no filth here. There is a lot of debris, which some would say adds authenticity. A significant amount of...More

We are staying in Nai Yang for 8 nights, it is not at all what we expected. We thought we would do our last shopping here before we fly home, but only restaurants and convenience stores here. If you are looking to shop for clothes,...More

This is a good little beach. Its quiet because its out the way, though there are lots of little restaurants, shops and cheap accommodation nearby.

I have only ever seen such dirty beaches on the telly. This was disappointing and shameful. The local government should beach comb daily and they clearly haven't done in some find as this all looked like old weathered rubbish. Disgusting.

I had arrived in Phuket from the islands and had several hours before I was due at the airport. I headed to Nai Yang based solely on proximity to the airport and what a pleasant surprise. The beach is really lovely, and there are a...More

A bit of touch and go - restaurants at Nai Yang beach generally close between 10pm-11pm. If you re running late, you may be better off grabbing some food at the airport first

You can always check the Phuket airport arrivals if you are concerned with flight timings. Noise wise - I was never disturbed by it even though I’m a light sleeper
