We just arrived and our 1st night hotel was a quick walk to the beach. Nearly deserted but several young men were bobbing in the surf. The water was nice and warm, the sand was perfect and there was no garbage anywhere. The beach here is why we will come back to this area within the month we are here.... More

Although this is not a common stop in Phuket, we chose to stay here for the first part of our trip because it was close to the airport and closer to some northern Phuket attractions. The beach was really nice and clean. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for less than $10 USD and just spend the day on... More

Spent an evening here, just before my return flight. The beach is long and lovely, there are not too many people around and the sunset was just awesome. If you are a plane spotter, all flights into Phuket overfly the beach.,

This beach was walking distance from my hotel. Lots of food, bars, massage places, etc around it. The sand was easy to walk ok and although it wasn't crystal clear, it was still blue and nice.

Fantastic place with exellent restaurants. The beach is among the five best beaches in Thailand. Not too many tourists nor hotels but still all the services needed. The sunset is fabulous. Missing the place all the time!!

Nai Yang is often overlooked by tourists who don't think to look quite so close to the airport for their own slice of heaven - but that's a big part of the attraction! Nai Yang boasts all the usual Phuket trimmings (market stalls, excellent food and beach-front massage) without the throngs of tourists that Patong draws in. World-class sunsets and... More

The beach, some street food, some restaurants and some cheap motels. That's it. The beach wasn't even that clean and I'll say not a great place for a nice vacation but for a trip to thailand at a cheaper price this would be a good option for you to consider.

The beach area is pretty quaint and fairly clean with plenty of space to set up your towel and relax. There are a few decent but overpriced beach restaurants and snack carts nearby. Not a stunning beach by any means--Thailand has much more beautiful beaches on offer, but quiet and seems like locals like to visit and enjoy it as... More

All the great things the other reviewers talk about about are all true...but! there are jellyfish in the water! Tiny, invisible jellyfish/plankton will start stinging you everywhere within a minute of you being in the water. At first it'll only feel annoying, but after a few minutes you'll be running out of there as fast as possible. Frustrating as the... More
