Impressive to see how they made a shipyard in ancient history. Plus one of the few places in Alanya that shows you anything of the Turkish heritage and culture in Alanya.

Good please to take a quick stroll after the sun gone done, ship yard full of tourist ships, boats, pirate ships for the tourist, also private for to hire. Old ship yard and the red tower by the harbour, great view, Resturant’s around the ship...More

Shipyard of Alanya... Little bit kitschy...Lot of boat, tourists and big ships for those tourist :) Dont know why the are all inspired with Pirates of the Carribean though :-) Little bit kitschy

It was built by Seljukians in the 13th century. You can combine your visit to the Shipyard by visiting the Kizilkule/Reddish Tower. If your are interested in marine history, it would be a fascinating visit.
