A short stretch of grassed and planted area makes for a pleasant stroll. There are many tourist boats – many pare pseudo galleons - lying for your trade and there’s nearby bars and restaurants. The main commercial centre - with local rather than tourist shops - is a short stroll away.

Stopped here as part of our cruise ship itinerary. It has a wide harbour front packed with "galleon" type tourist boats to cater for the masses in the holiday season. Mid April, it is very quiet today. The whole area is modern and based on tourism and not particularly attractive. Being my first ever visit to Turkey I was underwhelmed.

There are a lot of restaurants, night clubs and party boats. There is also some activities for kids. The liliput train for sightseeing starts from the end of the harbour.

There always something to see and do in Alanya harbour with restaurants, shops, boat tours and just general hustle, bustle and a happy vibe. In the evening the flickering lights are so beautiful - it definitely has the wow factor.

In the harbor there is lot of night clubs and these party boats. But there is also some activities for children for example big trampolins. The sightseeing train also starts from the end of the harbour. There is also some restaurants, I haven't gone to any because many of those seems to be expensive but maybe good for someone and... A beach resort city and a component district of Antalya Province on the southern coast of Turkey. I went there by my own car from Mersin. The journey is 6 hours long, but the road is amazingly beautiful.

The quality of the preservation and display is excellent. There is a small visitor road train available during the day which gives a quick tour for a small charge. this leaves and returns to the old harbour
