Not far from Alanya or from the main road, but up a very steep small road winding up the hill through banana plantations, the last bit of which was unpaved. Large car park with toilets. The day we were there it was free to enter....More

After getting off the Dolmus at the turnoff, it was a 3km steep hike upwards. The 34 degree heat made it strenuous -take plenty of water. When we found it on reaching the top, there was ruin after ruin, dating as far back as 700BC....More

The view is amazing and the best part is that it is for free. Also you see a lot if turtles hanging around there.

This place all and all is generous in sightseeing also if you're lucky you can pick fruits from deserted houses on you way up.

A little hidden in the mountain. Definitely worth a look and explore the historic city. A lot of history in a small territory.

It takes a little effort to get there, the road is certainly not easy for the car (dirt track), but there's plenty to see and the views are gorgeous, too. One would wish that the authorities took better care of it, though.
