This place is located in the city center. A short-walk distance from many guesthouses. Easy to access. It's better to go there close to the sunset time so you can enjoy the view and watch the beautiful sunset from there. I heard that there is some groups that arrange a yoga performance here in the morning during summer.

The theater is almost 2000 years old but in a very good condition, with only minor restaurations. Free to visit. Also a few Lyrian tombs. The views on the island before Koş are the best possible.

It is truely one of the best place to drink while watching the beautiful sunset. It is pretty simle to reach from the city center. One of the MUST SEE at KAŞ.

I visited Kas in 1992 and the amphitheatre had not been restored, so couldn't be walked on (as I recall). Since then it has been restored and can be walked on, but it no longer looks authentic, which is a shame. However, the views from the theatre are amazing and it's worth a visit - and a walk to the... I loved visiting this theatre. I would go there to watch the sunset in the evenings. It was a tranquil & almost a spiritual experience as the sunset behind the mountain peaks.

Went up here to share a glass of wine and watch the sun go town. Nice view back across the town. Significantly restored so not a lot of the original feel in tact but still well worth a visit if just for the view.

Nice little theater close to the city center. But a bit restored too much. Lost his soul and that's a pitty.

This attraction is not really very impressive, but as always, when being on a location thousands of years old, you feel “the whirr of the wings of history”. It is a nice place to go early in the evening with a couple of friends and a bottle of wine to watch the change of the color of the sea and... More

My sister and I saw this from our boat initially and thought it would be a significant hike from the town, but decided to try it anyways. 5 minutes (if that) away from the harbor/town center we were suddenly standing at the base of it. We had beautiful weather and the views of the bay and the harbor were amazing.... More

The theatre is located on the western fringes of Kas and just a short 5 / 10 minutes' stroll from the centre of town / the marina. It's not the greatest theatre that we've seen (the restorations are obvious) whilst touring through Turkey, but it's rather impressive given the size of Kas. As there is no entrance fee, it's certainly... More
