The castle is free entry and has recently been renovated. The gardens are lovely and it was a surprise to find a whale skeleton in the keep. A good place to take a book and a picnic.

I simply love the view from the castle and the garden. There is no entrance fee and the castle is opened until 9pm. It is so relaxing to walk around the castle.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the port to the castle. You can see the castle from the port.
