The place is magnificent and offers a very serene environment and an equally astonishing view. Carry your hat, cap, sunglasses and drinks - it gets really sunny at times.

I did not expect the view to be as gorgeous as it was. It was not crowded, so being able to take in its beauty was priceless.

This is a good hiking valley but don't forget to bring sunglasses, hats and water if you plan to come. It is really hot during summer time.

Trekking red and rose valley was no doubt one of the most amazing things we' ve done in Cappadocia .. went by ourselves following the few signs on the way but not hard to find and when we reached found an amazing natural paradise !

Goreme itself is an otherworldly place! Everything from cobblestone streets, quaint cave hotels and beautiful valleys with amazing rock formations, vivid colors and spectacular landscape. Rose Valley is a must see!

We had an hours walk around the valley. I believe it was one of the best walks i have had. The scenery is just phenomenal . you can see orchards, trees, beautiful skies and amazing landscape. Just relax and have fun.

We were there in April this year and did a two hour walk through Rose Valley on our own. We did not need a guide and it was absolutely beautiful. There were other walkers we passed and I did not notice any guides with them... More

Urgurp and Goreme are simply two different towns in Cappadocia. I personally slept in Goreme and went to the so called Red Tour (bus tour with guide) and one of the stops are in Urgurp. I think the best places to sleep when... More
