Initially we were on our way to Devrent Valley to see the rock formation shapes and stopped to just to see what there was. It is beautiful, there is a lovely paved walkway around and it clearly tells you how far each of the walks...More

Consists of 3 phases and it is so big that we couldn't see all of it as we arrived late. A complete big city in which people lived hundreds of years ago. The houses in the caves, public areas, dining rooms, the churches are splendid....More

It is huge and much more beautiful and fascinating than Göreme open air museum. It has 3 valleys. Easier to walk around not that crazy crowded. The nature and the touch of different cultures created a unique beauty.

It takes around an hour to walk around the valley. It is very silent and peaceful. Compared to Göreme there aren't any well protected churches. Also, most of the rooms are forbidden to enter. Anyway, it is a great place to walk around the fairy...More

The open air museum is the natural rock cuts in the mountains some of which resemble like characters of history, such as 3 wise men, Napollean's hat, etc. Not a must to visit but if you have time then you can spend about under 30...More

As this museum is further out of town it does not get the same tourist treatment/attention as its more famous cousin. Compared to Goreme this museum is more spread out and requires more stairs. However it also gives you an idea of how life was...More
