Great selection of crafts without having to travel all over. Enjoyed my visit and my purchases. Loved the hand carved chess set.

Very many self drivers get stuck in Kampala traffic jam or miss important activities in Kibale and Entebbe and parhaps flight time.
From KIBALE NATIONAL PARK just take a RH diversion on BUJUUKO town it will take you 12min to reach Mpigi road cross it and drive further 30min to reach Entebbe Road.
Take note the road is busy with lorries and boda boda cyclist.

Place is located on the main road on Entebbe and contains several shops selling handmade crafts. Most of the shops has the same staf on their collections, like clothes, jewelery, wooden masks and bowls etc. Here you can negotiate about prices. Quality is usually good, but take some time to check products before buying.

Uganda is still much cheaper what comes for crafts for example in Kenia or Tanzania.

There is also new craft market opposite Victoria mall, but there prices seems to be higher and negotiations is difficult

Nice collection. There is another market in front of the Victoria mall but that is much more expensive.Crafts village is the better choice.Did not find a good fridge magnets collection though. Bargaining works.Prices not that low for Asians.

During the last years I have repeatedly visited the village and seen it growing. Lots of small stalls with a variety of items. It seems, however, that almost all the shops have the same owner. So when you start to bargain all of them have to call their boss in order to see whether this is acceptable. One can wonder how much these ladies actually earn. The items are nice and youy can find some items that are not pure touristic, but you have to look well. Items that you can buy at Banana Boat in Kampala, you can buy here for a much lower price.

This craft village was much smaller than perhaps had been indicated. Offering a wide range of wooden, bone, seed and handmade African souvenirs. Sadly we couldn't purchase many of these given international restrictions on taking these home.

The women operating the stalls were very friendly and welcoming

The owners of the shops are very aggressive in trying to get you to enter their shop, however the items available and the fact that items are very reasonably priced makes it worth your time to go.

Good tourist shop. All of the stuff you find at other craft villages. But people were friendly and the prices reasonable.

If you are after a souvenir or two, particularly at the end of your stay in Uganda, this may be a place to go to. Local craft, friendly vendors and a decent choce of goods on offer make it worth a visit.
