We jus went today. You can easily skip the zoo visit. They yet have more areas to be open. It's a huge massive place,to walk. No proper direction, guide. They got guide sheet, which isn't helpful. They had an area called children discovery garden, the concept is nice but not maintained well.

Al Ain has improved so much over recent years. There is so much more to do for all the family. The new shopping mall is a real bonus.

One of the oldest cities in the world, Al Ain is a day trip from Abu Dhabi takes about an hour on a great highway. The first stop is to the Al Jhili Fort followed by the Shekh Zayed Palace Museum. Then after a little lunch, a visit to the Al Ain Oasis to be amazed what can be done in the desert. A drive to Jebel Hafeet Mountain and Mahzara Al Kkadha Park to experience the spectacular views and park is a must and then a final stop at the Al Khrair Camel Market to complete a awe-inspiring day.

Being a resident been to Al Ain.. my friend in Al Ain had a bet that I don’t know the full heritage of Al Ain. So called City One as they are known to have expert guides. True to it, they showed the Al Ain that was unexplored - wholesale camel market, dates oasis, fort and Mubazzarah - along with regular zoo and Jabal hafit!
Must do in UAE, with a travel Agency like City one is Al Ain City Tour.
