Al Majaz Amphitheatre is dedicated to bringing a broad range of performance art, plays, musicals, community events and concerts. The open-air theatre is inspired by the Roman-style amphitheatre. At 7,238 square meters in area, the theatre can accommodate 4,500 spectators and has become an architectural monument that integrates with the aesthetics of Sharjah.

The Al Majaz Amphitheatre is located on the Khalid Lagoon in Sharjah and is on one of the man-made islands on this lagoon. The Amphitheatre is one of the best outdoor venues in Sharjah, hosting performances by a variety of international stars, particularly during the cooler months.
It is one of the stops on the City Sightseeing tour for Sharjah, but is otherwise not accessible by public transport. The venue is good and is somewhat reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome. Entry is allowed only when events are on and ticket prices depend on the event taking place.

A wonderful location to see a music concert. Intimate yet vast with a great stage and good sound. The floor seating in my view needs to be staggered but overall an excellent venue. More music artists should use this as it’s a great location. Traffic can be a nightmare around here so plan your journey well in advance.

We went here for Lewis Capaldi. Great, unique venue and the organisation was good. Only downside was the huge queue for food and drink. Take in what you need or get there early!
