Sharjah stadium hold the world record of having hosted maximum number of international One day Internationals (ODI). Many high voltage matches involving India and Pakistan has taken place on this ground. Its nice venue and worth a visit to refresh the rich cricketing memories for every cricket lover. A must visit for every cricket lover.

Great and historic ground, how can one forget the great innings played by Sachin against Australia and numerous Indo-Pak encounters. It is this rich cricketing history that draws me or any cricket fanatic to this ground. Facility wise the stadium is just average. The Grand stand and the member's stand are the stands with the best seating & other facilities.

Sharjah Cricket Stadium has been home to cricket for over 3 decades now. And for cricket fans like myself, it is a pleasure in itself to visit such a place. It always revives the cricketing memories and lets you live the cricketing moments that are a part of your flashback. Historical moment for me to visit this place!

It was the hot bed of cricket activity in the 1990's. However with a new stadium opened up at Abu Dhabi, the cricket games here have reduced. However a visit here does bring back fond, nostalgic memories of several cricket matches that used to be regularly conducted here. Best to go there when there is a match being played, otherwise... Sharjah stadium is in dire need of an upgrade and renovation. I found a lot of seats which were loose or broken, the stands had very poor paint work and lighting. The score board was of very old design. No one came round to sell refreshments so we had to get out of the seats to find a drinks stall.... More

If you are lucky you will be able to see the flood lights on and some game going on. The tickets are cheap and at times have free entry as well. You can imagine all the big games between the asian countries played here and still see its fresh amongst the staff there.

We went to cricket stadium with no matches. Absolutely empty stadium. The green cricket ground & pitch was welcoming us. We took lot of photographs where our cricket players have played a lot there. I believe, you do not get permission to visit cricket stadium with so much easiness in India, Absolutely, there was no problem there.

An average stadium in the heart of an average city. Sharjah has not much to offer but cricket lovers will obviously like it.
