This is River

This is a river, not a sea! The widest river in the world that connects Colonia to Montevideo and Buenos Aires. Take a sit and breath fresh air with beautiful sunshine.

This river is beautiful everywhere, and on a sunny day, it is worth taking the walk along the river in Colonia. Very pretty scenes, and calming walk.

The interesting thing about Rio de la Plata is its dark dirty color and the big waves that make you feel like on a sea shore.

It is hard to believe that this is a river and not a lake, as it is so huge. Unfortunately it is an unappealing shade of brown. At time is actually looks like dark brown sand moving.

The giant river dividing Uruguay and Argentina and dumps into the ocean is impressive. Always a brown tint, it seems to be fairly clean

The water area around Sacramento is really nice place to relax and spend a few hours. Nice mini marina with great views of the Rio and Island.
