We did the half day cookery co use at Tra Que and it was brilliant. Without a doubt some of the best food I've ever eaten and such great fun. Our guide/chef Ha was great, very knowledgeable and playful with a wicked sense of humour. The farm and restaurant are in wonderful peaceful surroundings, everything beautiful and fresh. This was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in Viet Nam. From the cooking class (where we learned to make rice paper, fresh spring rolls, and rice flour pancakes), throug the hot lunch we were served, and a little time spent "working" the farm, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time here. If you visit Hoi An,... More

My family and I had a wonderful day and loved the farming, making the rice papers and ecpecially cooking some delicious food. We liked meeting the locals, being on a interview for Vietnam television and having a laugh with the owners! He hope to come back again and highly recommend it for tourists visiting Hoi An!

Family group of six adults cycled to Tra Que Water Wheel, for a tour of the organic gardens, shoulder/neck and foot massage, a cooking lesson and the most delicious lunch. Hien (Helen) was our 'cheeky' guide and instructor. By the end of her lesson, we enjoyed the most delicious fresh spring rolls and crispy rice flour pancakes. Helen ensured that... More

We attended the half day cooking tour a few days ago. Family of four with two daughters aged 11 and 9. Helen met us at the hotel with the bikes. We then rode to a local market before heading off to the farm via rice fields and pretty local streets. We stopped for some fun photos before arriving at the... More

Bicycle ride in the rain, market place tour with lots of explanations and shopping opportunities, and wonderful cooking class with many fun photo ops. Helen was great -- friendly and entertaining. Food was amazing. Overall excellent experience, likely a highlight of our trip. :)
