I took the free 40 minute Vietnamese class which was very well organized and taught. Not only did it teach very relevant phrases and words, but also a bit about the culture, navigating Vietnam, and good food recommendations. Our teacher was very fun and friendly and spoke English well.

This was book through our travel agent. I was not sure what to make of it initially. But when we got there, we were initially taught how to paint a typical Vietnamese scene which at the end of the lesson we painted on a special paper as a card. I was amazed at how good both cards looked, despite th... More

My wife and I heard about this workshop through TA and thought it would be cool and unique experience. When booking we were told the morning class had over 20 in it so we opted for the 3:30pm class and we were asked to arrive 15mins early. We arrived 15mins early (as asked) for our class only to be told... More

We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours at Lifestart Foundation for our lantern-making workshop. Our tutor was patient, calm and interesting - giving us step by step instructions and help. The lantern-making is very absorbing as you get into the rhythm of the craft and it was a very relaxing afternoon in the cool and quiet of the workshop.... More

I visited a free language course in Vietnamese there, which was excellent and the staff very friendly. Please support this company and buy some things in the shop.

From the moment we booked our free language lesson we were impressed with the foundation and what they accomplish. Vin ( I think that's right) was a wonderful patient teacher and we learnt so much in such a short time. If you can go and support them by buying beautiful handcrafts from the shop or taking a lesson in lantern... More

we booked a class for making our own small lanterns, think we did it quite well, price isn't that cheap, but it's for a good reason as they support local disabled people. they have a nice store and we additionally did some shopping there to support their project.
