The free Kim Bong Village bike tour was led by two college students, Ai and Ai. Yep, they even made things easy by sharing the same name. Before the start of the tour, we gave the guides a nominal fee (I think 50K) which covered the ferry to Kim Bong, and "donations" for the locals (the guides would hand us... More

We greatly enjoyed the Hoi An Free Tour, run by a non profit that organizes tours led by college students who are learning Englsh. The bike tour included a route through Hoi An and a short ferry ride to Kim Bong Village, where we were able to visit a small temple and shipyard and participate in rice noodle and mat... More

Had a half-day trip out to Kim Bong Village with the guide Ai Thuy Dang. Visited a place where they made boats, a temple, a place where they made rice-paper and noodles and a shop where they sold locally made wooden figures. It was a fun and lovely ride, the guide was awesome and the trip was rounded up at... More

We visited amongst others a noodle making place and actually made Some ourselves. We also visited a weaving shop and... More

I joined two tours with this company, namely the Free Bike Tour and the Evening walking food tour. Our guide on the bike tour, Amy, was a friendly young lady who spoke good English and shared valuable insight about Kim Bong village as well as life in Hoi An. She was caring throughout the tour and made sure that everyone... More

If you're around Hoi An on a Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday morning then why not do this tour? It's lovely to cycle around the peaceful village of Kim Bong and meet the locals. The students who volunteer are very friendly, knowledgeable and speak good English. Our guide Mai was great and made our morning very enjoyable. My one complaint is... More

Really enjoyed cycling around a quiet village a short ferry ride from Hoi An. Mai was a lovely host and very informative. This tour is ran by incredibly hard working people and completely non profit, a great organisation to support and a fantastic experience. If you want to see a little of Vietnam village life with a guide but without... More

This free bicycle tour was one of the highlights of our trip in Vietnam. Our tour guides, Thanh and Thao, were so friendly, welcoming and genuine, and had excellent English and taught us a lot of interesting things about the local culture. We had a great time riding bicycles in the beautiful and peaceful Kim Bong village, and we also... More
