Loved this half day bike ride which included basket boats, market gardening and the highlight of cooking and eating in the Minty Garden cafe. One of the best experiences of our Vietnam Holiday!!!

We've just come back from an awesome evening cooking class with Danny - we had so much fun & Danny was the perfect chef to cook with! The food was probably the best we've had so far in Vietnam and to think we cooked it is even better! You couldn't ask for a better location either - in the middle of Tra Que Vegetable village so serene and peaceful watching the locals at work. The cooking class was extremely hands on and practical cooking and prepping everything from scratch, with it just being the two of us and Chef Danny we found we learnt loads and it seemed a much better approach rather than in a big group like most other cooking classes in Asia.

This is my third cooking class so far on my 4 month trip and this was by far the best!!

If your in HoiAn then you should definitely spend an evening cooking your dinner with Danny and his lovely family!

We had an absolutely smashing time with Chef Danny who thought us a few vietnamese dishes and how to cook up a storm. He had a flair of making people laugh and we totally enjoyed our time in his kitchen. I would recommend this experience for families and couples who love their food and want to experience making vietnamese dishes themselves.

The experience starts with a short scooter ride to the village of Tra Que. If you've never been on a scooter in Vietnam before, this was quite the experience. Once we got to the farm, we toured through the farm, where we got to observe traditional farming methods. The fragrances of various herbs were particularly memorable.
After the farm tour, we went back to the outdoors kitchen, where we learned to cook various traditional dishes, as Martin Yan did during his visit. The cooking class was not only educational, but very entertaining as well. When we were done cooking, we ate our very satisfying 4 course meal. A word of advice - skip breakfast that day. You get a lot of food. Overall, it was a great experience, and it was definitely our highlight of the trip!

I had a great experience travelling to the home and village of Danny, the amazing Chef, who ran a cooking class for my cousin and I. Being VEGETARIAN I was delighted with the options available to me and was able to learn how to make many different Vietnamese dishes. Danny was friendly, fun and taught me some great cooking tips that I look forward to using when back home. I thoroughly recommend that you visit here, seeing the village people harvest the crops and cook fresh food is an opportunity not to be missed.

My boyfriend and I visited Minty Garden and had such an amazing time with Danny and his family. We were greeted with a delightful, refreshing drink and then the fun started! Not only was the food amazing but seeing the village and meeting his family was a truly unique experience in Vietnam. We learned about the village and the food they grow and we even got to work, tilling the land :)

The food was the best we had while in Vietnam! Can't wait to cook some of the recipes!

The vegetable village is such a great spot to explore and whilst you are there this place is a gem. We stumbled upon Minty Garden keen to escape the heat and couldn't resist going for another lunch here during our short stay in Hoi An. We didn't do any classes, but enjoyed some of the freshest and most tasty food of our trip.. Or possibly ever! It's small and family run and they are so kind and attentive. The white roses which were
mouthwatering and the father of the family shows you how to do everything Vietnamese style .. Watching the papaya be picked right in front of us for the salad and seeing family members heading into the kitchen with freshly picked veggies is fabulous. The Tra Que cocktail which is their signature soft drink is so refreshing and different and a must try. We had a wonderful time using Google translate to chat with the family before we left - a really special place and a must visit.

We booked a cookery class through out hotel, and had an amazing time.

Wandering through the gardens and picking herbs before learning to cook with them, was so much fun.

Highly recommend
