I had a great experience here. It's always great to go back to nature. It was a bit froggy when I visited. But the view is still awesome.
PS: You will need a manual motorbike to get there though. There is a security point where they ask you to register your phone number and your vehicle.

This is one of must-visit attractions in Danang for both reasons of landscape, and relax .
The route from Danang to Ban Co Peak is really amazing. It looks like in a Hollywood film, and you can stop to take photo anywhere.
The nearer you get to the park, the cooler it is.
The best view of Danang when you get on the top of the Park. From here you can see the whole Danang city.
There’s no entrance ticket, the price for drinking and snacks is reasonable.
It is very clean and windy.
You can sit down, relax and enjoy the landsape here for very long time.
Very highly reccomend this place to all travellers .

We continued the journey to explore the Peninsula on the way running around, clinging along the coast, while through the dense forest canopy, perched at the top of the mountain over his tapes, or indifferent hanging the cliff like a ribbon of soft ... green trees, blue sea, blue sky mixed with the yellow of the sun, white sand forming natural picture fresh and provocative lead.
Continuing the journey, we conquer the towering peaks of the Son Tra threshold. Steep path winding between immense hammock trees unfold before the eyes of successive hills rolling. A higher clouds are thicker. Both the union obscure in clouds. But, the clouds come and jam spread very quickly, in just a moment back shining sky. And we go on the same street dark blue sim, reefs are in season, fruit, fruit-laden branches woven together to create a sim-shaded road. After ascending to the peak 650m is whether you, the car begins to slope. Opening before the vast ocean, this side is flat sand beach north has yellow nursery, still as a lake waves, the South Beach sea is calm, deep blue . One side is forested slopes have joined together between East and West, Son Tra taken closer to nature cruise.

came here several times and it was always a very good feeling to travel all the way through the Son Tra mountain to reach it. best views over the sea or Da Nang city are not just here on the peak but you can catch also along the way. be sure to use a good vehicle to climb the roads, and the trip would be better in the summer.

Great panoramic view of the city, note for those who go up to visit by motorbike is very dangerous, for automatic motorbikes, it is not allowed to go to the top to visit.

I hiked from downtown of Da Nang to this peak. Somehow it took about 7 hours. I swear I was hiking, not crawling. You can see Da Nang city from the peak. Beautiful statue of an old man playing Chinese chess. The scenery at night even more beautiful with Da Nang lightened up. The people are so friendly and nice. My phone died when I got to the peak and there was no way to contact my friend. The guy who looks after the motorbikes, lended me his phone and asked one other guy who rode a bike himself to take me down to the city.

The ride up is bumpy and slow. You have to climb fairly drastic slopes so take a strong durable motorbike. If you're lucky and arrive on a clear day, the view is fantastic! We came on a day that was part foggy part sunny and that was lovely, watching everything disappearing and reappearing through the drifting fog. The peak itself can get pretty crowded but a bit down the road there's a nice quiet hidden spot that offers a better view and tranquility. If you're lucky you'll catch glimpse of a few brown monkey wandering down the road. ;)

Ban Co Peak is actually a really small area which requires a little bit of climbing to get up. But the 360 degree panorama is really nice. You can see the city of Da Nang on one side and Hai Van pass on the other.
It was getting a bit cloudy when I arrived, however, so the view wasn't as pristine as I had hoped. But the drive getting here was the fun part!

On a sunny day, the ride to the top of the mountain is very nice. We even encountered some monkeys! However, when we reached the peak, we couldn't see anything because of a tiny cloud hovering over the top of the mountain. I was so sad!!
You should wear good shoes because the last climb (about 50m) is a bit difficult. We took a taxi and it cost about 400k to get here from the city.

How do people usually get to Ban Co Peak? I have seen some people take taxi to reach the peak, but what about the return trip? Is it difficult to get a taxi from the peak back to Danang City?

I also took a taxi, but I chartered.
The driver was waiting while I was enjoying to see beautiful scenery from the top.
