We planned for one full day of "adventure" activities at the falls and were disappointed when our day began with rain. But our guide Mulele could not have been better. He planned the day perfectly, could not have been more organized or helpful and made sure our day was not only perfect but also easy and fun. We booked the "Unlimited Adrenalin plus Free Helicopter Flight" and it was absolutely the best choice. We could choose from practically any activity they offered, in any order, and Mulele simply made it happen. He was flexible to our energy level and interests. He also has a wealth of knowledge about the area and is a pleasure to be around for the day. The activities also all were run expertly by the staff and we always felt that we were in good hands. I recommend Zambezi Eco Adventures and Mulele without reservation.

Words truly cannot describe the day of exhilaration and fun I have had. Many thanks to Mulele and all who took care of me today! I did the unlimited adrenaline package with free helicopter ride (included gorge swing, abseiling, and zip lining in two different positions). The gorge swing was definitely the highlight, so much so that I did it 3 times! The one limiting factor for the swing and abseiling, is the hike back up afterwards, but the reward was well worth it. I felt entirely safe the whole time. We crossed into Zimbabwe for the helicopter ride and were able to see the whole falls, including the rainbow (which shows when the sun is shining). Mulele made the whole process of crossing customs and moving from one activity to the next extremely smooth.

For our trip to Victoria Falls, we had planned helicopter rides, a whitewater rafting adventure, and a day of high-flying adventure. All of them were worth doing, but the high-flying adventure left us a little tired from all the hiking.
Abseil Zambi features a few high-flying activities. In nor particular order, abseiling, forward abseiling, superman zip line, zip line, and gorge swing.
The abseiling and forward abseiling are essentially the same experience, except one is done with your back to the ground (making you blissfully unaware of the height) and the other forces you to face your demons and stare at the ground as you make your way down. Both are actually quite easy, and anyone except the most afraid of heights, should be handle both with relative ease. The ropes are well fastened and it appears to be quite safe. Going forward was actually qute exhilarating.
BE WARNED!!! When you get to the bottom of the gorge, you have to make your way back to the top. This requires a pretty strenuous hike up and out of the gorge - after each trip down. The hike is somewhat strenuous, and even the experienced hiker will find it at least somewhat tiring. If it is hot, the hike can be downright difficult towards the end of the day (after you have done it a few times). There is a water station, but that water is not bottled so plan accordingly (and probably bring Cipro in case you get traveller's sickness).
The superman line is fun. We did it twice each. You get a running start and dive off over the cliff, face first and looking down. It is not that scary, and the views are incredible. It is a quick ride, but quite fun. And you will get excellent photos as you can pose when you are out over the gorge.
There is a single zip line. It is fun, but not very long. They have not figured out how to stop people, so the stop was a little bit harsh. This is worth doing once, but if you skip it (or they do not offer it because they have not figured out the stop yet), you will not be missing much.
The real reason to come here is for the gorge swing. A 53 meter freefall from the top of the gorge is three and a half seconds of sheer terror, followed by several minutes of absolute glee, and at least a couple of years of stories. The experience was terrifying but gratifying, and we are both glad we did it.
Overall, the place was ok and the activities worth doing. The folks who work there were all very friendly. One of the wives provided us lunch on the full day event, and it was actually very tasty. The head guy, Fred, was fantastic. He was able to get us out on the platform and got both of us to step off with his authoritative and friendly style. We sat and chatted with the crew most of the day - they were fantastic.
We rated it a 3 because of the walking. It made the day a lot of work. And the lack of variety in the activities made the day a little less than ideal. Still, it is worth doing, but be prepared physically for all the walking. Eat a light breakfast.

After a busy week, we booked the sunset boat cruise with our three colleagues on a Saturday evening.
They have a great location. If you are there an hour before, you can pretty good relax here.
Our group were ten people and four people crew. They are very attentive and accommodating. Snacks, drinks (wine, beer and cocktails) and food is included in the price.
They start with small, tasty snacks. Later we had meat sausage and chicken legs with hot and cold side dishes. We had a lot of space on board. It was a nice, international audience. We saw hippos, baboons, impala and wildebeest.
Wherever we found animals, the boat stayed for a long time and allowed sufficient time for observation.
After a wonderful, relaxed 2.5 hours, we happily drove back to the hotel.

When I first went to the website I thought they just did activities. I saw that they offered almost all of the activities we wanted to do, like the gorge swing, Devil's pool and animal encounters. I contacted them to ask if the activities included transportation from our hotel. They ended up handling my entire trip. Transportation from the airport, booking my hotel and every activity in between including activities I wanted to do but didn't see on their website. I probably drove the staff crazy with my endless questions and changes but they were so nice. Every driver was on time. They went above and beyond for us.

This was a terrific experience and not for the light of heart. The gorge swing was a wonderful, frightening, once in a lifetime experience. The repelling was great and so was the zip lining. A highlight was shopping at a local goods hut and meeting the chief of the village. We heard great stories about his village and their children that reside there.

This was one of the most fun things we did while in the Vic Falls area. First off, Mulele is the most amazing human on earth. He not only booked this all day adventure for us, but he was our guide all four days we were in town. He booked activities and was just the most amazing guide ever. I would highly recommend hiring him for your time in town. The Eco Adventure activities were awesome. We did all of them, including the gorge swing which was so thrilling. We had four kids and even our 9 year old did the gorge swing! So memorable and the crew was fantastic. We felt safe the whole time and now have a lifelong friend in Mulele. Thank you!!!

We had such an amazing experience on our visit to Victoria Falls, with one full day spent with Zambezi Eco Adventures. We booked the Unlimited Adrenalin plus free helicopter flight package with them, which is perfect for anyone looking for a day filled with adrenaline activities. This package includes unlimited Abseil, Gorge Swing, Flying Fox, Zip line, hike and one free Flight of angel’s helicopter flight over Victoria Falls and is well worth the price you pay which is much cheaper than booking the activities individually.
The morning of our “Adrenalin Day”, as we call it, we were greeted at our hotel entrance at 8:30am by our very friendly Zambezi Eco Adventure guide named Comfort, he informed us that he will be with us all day making sure we get the most out of our day and that is exactly what he did. We started our adventure off with the more physical activities (Abseil, Gorge Swing, Flying Fox, Zip line and hike), these take place in Zambia and we were staying on the Zimbabwe side of the Falls, this was not an issue as Comfort was by our side every minute taking us through the border post with ease.
When we arrived in Zambia we took a short 4x4 trip to the place where all the activities were going to take place. We started off with the Abseil down the gorge, with a very steep hike back up, we then did the Zip line and Flying Fox, which require you to run off the edge of the gorge, which is easier said than done.
We saved the best for last…the gorge swing…this requires you to fall backward or step forward off the edge to the gorge, free fall for 3.5 seconds before you start to swing. As someone who has bungee jumped before I found that the gorge swing and bungee jump give you a very similar out of body feeling, it’s the free fall in both activities that gives you this insane feeling. My partner and I first did a tandem swing and then a single swing each, as these activities are unlimited we could go as many times as we liked. We would have done more gorge swings if the hike back up was not so intense, be prepared for this, especially on a hot day, its best to do these activities first thing in the morning. We need to thank Joseph, Simon, Eddie and the rest of the Adrenaline team for their hard work and for keeping us safe during these crazy fun activities.
Next we headed back to the Zimbabwe side with Comfort to go do the Flight of Angel’s Helicopter Ride, I was speechless after this activity, words and pictures do not do it justice. The beauty of the Victoria Falls from above was beyond amazing, this is a must do activity! We even managed to see some game from above, Thank you to Jan, our Pilot, for this amazing trip!
To sum it all up, our day spent with Zambezi Eco Adventures was, well organized, Safe, Friendly and fun. Thank you so much to Comfort for being with us every step of the way as we made these beautiful memories. You were Informative, very helpful, friendly and just went the extra mile for us, you were not only our guide, you are a friend.
Thank you Comfort and the rest of the Zambezi Eco Adventures Team…We will be back!

We wanted an adventure and were not disappointed in this experience. Initially we wanted to only try the zip line, but the support and guidance provided by the team helped us muster the courage to try all they had to offer. I really appreciate the patience and instruction provided by the team and their willingness to make sure we got the most out of out time. They will also use your camera or video to capture the events, no pressure to buy their pictures or video unlike at other establishments in the area. Even if you are unsure about taking advantage of their services just go and check it out, I'm sure you will be convinced to do at least one thing.
