Staying in the DoubleTree hotel, we were given vouchers for a free entrance and towels at the Tala Bay Beach Club in Tala Bay, which is part of South beach. This Tala Bay Beach Club can also be reached free of charge with a shuttle bus which brings tourists from Tala Bay to the city of Aqaba, and vice versa.... More

This one is a nice and free of charge (don't let people sell you tickets) beach! We went there in the evening for the sunset and it has excellent views (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel)! The people there are nice and unobtrusive :) There is a nice kiosk that has everything from tea to shisha, and you can enjoy your drink... More

After 4 days of busy country hopping- Doha, Amman, Jerusalem, Petra- the kids just wanted to do what kids always want: swim and build sand castles. Being in Petra and having already been to the Dead Sea, we thought we'd drive down to Aqaba (I must say it was a scenic drive there). The beach was very good for a... More

Its a beautiful beach but bring water shoes as there are many rocks in the water. It did not have hardly any people there when we went and only locals.

This city on the Red Sea has some seriously picturesque shots. I would highly recommend doing some swimming or snorkeling in the famously clear blue waters. There are several sunken vessels (and even a sunken battle-tank) that you can snorkel or scuba over and around. You can see Israeli ground on the other side the sea itself is so narrow.

This is the prettiest part of the beach lining the Read Sea in Aqaba, pristine waters perfect for scuba or snorkelling.

Sunday afternoon and empty beach. Untidy and bare beach. Snorkeling to tank and Japanese garden is quite fun but not marvelous.
