Our family of four with two teenagers greatly enjoyed your and pottery painting workshop. They ship your kilned pieces back to USA in ~2 months. Good English spoken, super friendly.

This is an interesting pottery studio and gallery. This kiln dates back to 1870 and the tour was led by a potter who is the 6th generation in the family business. Interesting and beautiful work on sale for all price ranges (artwork to practical pieces).

Visited here as part of a day tour. Family owned pottery for six generations. We were given a brief rundown of the process and then a demonstration of the making of a cup and a jug. A small shop carries examples of many of the current styles at what seems to be a very fair price.

Pottery is high quality. Reasonably priced. We had purchased items shipped and everything handled arrived quickly and safely.

Stopped here in route to Kyoto and glad we did. It started with a short video showing an overview of the entire process of producing handmade Kutani ware. This was followed by a visit to see the creation of several ceramic items - a rice bowl, a beer mug and a vase. The potter was available for questions. Following the... More
