I went here solely to purchase some Japanese gifts - they have jewellery, ceramics etc. What was nice was that many were by specific artists which added a more personal touch to the mass produced variety

I enjoyed a brief visit, and the materials on the second floor looked very nice. I was disappointed that I could not take souvenir photos of my visit to the second floor to show other people. There were relatively few helpful English signs upstairs, unfortunately....More

We went to this museum and my wife got dressed as a performer, smiling all the way through as two ladies dressed her. We then went up to the second floor to read and see all about it.

The museum is located a short walk from the Contemporary Art Museum and is worth a visit if you have some spare time and are in the area. It's very small but informative.

I would agree with other contributors that unless you are a keen follower of Noh as an art form then you could give this a miss if time is tight. That said Noh is a large part of historic Japanese culture so we thought our...More
