This minimalistic concrete complex of a museum is devoted to zen buddhism and to its founder D. T. Suzuki. There is a small display of D. T. Suzuki's life and a study hall where visitors can sit down and read the books on display. Finally...More

A wonderfully designed museum devoted to Zen and the teachings of DT Suzuki. The gardens and water features are beautiful. Expect to spend 30-45 minutes here.

I do not know anything about Zen, but still could appreciate the Hall of Meditation. Architecture is very stark, but still soothing.

The museum is some 15 mins walk from 21st Century museum. It's very small with just few halls. Get an audio guide, included in the admission, sit and contemplate looking at the water mirror garden.

Saw plenty of disappointed faces when they realised how small this place was after travelling the distance. I enjoyed it for its serenity and architecture. Probably takes one 15mins to complete the entire museum.

Simply Zen gorgeous. Walking to it after alighting from the bus, we walked on a peaceful gravel path through a forested area - part of the vast park next door. The Museum building and surrounding pool will de-stress and amaze you - why don't more...More
