The ropeway is short, but also rather cheap and no queues, few people, but they bring you up anyway. The view is beautiful and at the top there are some chairs and you can buy coffee or ice-cream.

Japan has so many ropeways, and this one is known as the shortest one, which for a rope way is not such a source of pride. The Yuyu loop bus can bring you to the top of the mountain without having to spend your money on...More

The cable car is a small one, the view is not special but it is a way to go to the Atami castle provided you are at the beach / sea level. It costs 400 yen one way.

Nice view of the area and kind of like going back in time to the 70s on an old theme park ride. But good views from the top.

It wasnt a long ropeway, and the waiting time is not fixed, as long as there are enough people they will move. Once you are up, you can visit the atami castle or have a panoramic view of atami from the top!
