I would not classify this as an attraction in the sense of a place with things to see inside. Rather, you are there to have a clear view of the Great Seto Bridges that connect the islands ahead. There is no need to hike up to the top as the view from outside the souvenir shop is the same. The... More

Very good view of Setonaikai(Sea) and Seto-Ohashi(bridge) but access by public transportation is not good. The bus runs every hour so it is not frequent. At the view point there are visitor center and cafe , but nothing else.If you take a taxi from the railway station it will cost about 1800 yen one way.

This is a very impressive place to visit. Seto Ohashi (Seto Great Bridge) is an engineering marvel, as well as making a great photo. Not really accessible by public transport but if you are on a self-drive trip to the area, well worth the detour.

My grandparents live here, and my dad grew up here. It's so pretty and there aren't many people. I love watching the boats go under the bridge, it's so relaxing. The walk up to the top is tough for my grandmother because she is frail, but it's pretty easy for most people. There isn't much to do but walk to... More

I guess I lucked out on the day I picked to check out Washuzan. It got cloudy as I was on the way the way there and it was a full on rain by the time I walked up. If you're hoping to get a good shot in such weather, forget it. A clear weather day is the best time... More

Some of the online information about how hard it is to reach the top by bus is not correct. We visited the top by bus from kojima station. Take bus 4 just outside the station, departure time is from 08.30 till 17.30 every hour. It takes 30 min to reach the top, from there you'll need to walk for another... More

This is mountain to be reach by a hiking trail or to an abandoned hotel with your car. Nice view of the seto nankai bridge and sea; you can do some nice shots. Bring your grill and beers and make a BBQ, make sure one person doesn't drink to get you back in his car.

Washuzan is located in the place for 20 min by train from Okayama. If you go to an observatory and climb a hill 10 minutes from there, you can command a whole view of Setonaikai. Many small islands are located in Setonaikai and one bridge has connected those islands between Okayama and Kagawa. Since this bridge is lit up from... More

One of the best views of the Seto Inland Sea I've seen so far. Not a hike though, think a car park, some stairs and a paved road. Still, very much worth the short drive from Kurashiki.
