Large garden sophisticately design where you could spent an enjoyable afternoon walking between the ponds, under the shade of a small bambus garden, on top of a small hil. sit on one of the many benches ans enjoy the serenity of this place

Beautiful and large Japanese gardens in Okayama by the river. Small entry charge. Plenty of cafes and gift shops. Do go out into the woods too as you will find a lot of interest. Also up to the high point to look over the lake....More

This garden is rated in the top 3 of its kind in Japan. In a country with many beautiful gardens, this one really stood out for me. It was very uncrowded even on a sunny warm day. Highly recommended.

It's depends on people but there are ticket Korakuen park and Okayama castle together for 1 day pass is cheap and takes 2 hours for enough to both of see them. There are connect inside between Osaka castle and Korakuen park.
