This places has multiple levels of glass shops in one building. All of the items are gorgeous, of course. You cannot take photos, which I really wanted to do. They had glass dollhouses - one Japanese style, one huge Victorian style - which are worth...More

Plenty of glassware choices, this place is probably the main retail glassware collection in Otaru. Got myself a few glasses that changes colour according to water temperature (pretty cool! :D)..glasses were even decorated with snowy winter or flowering summer landscape!

Kitaichi is the primary glassware shop in Otaru. They sell everything from cups, little ornaments, decorations, and just anything you can think of made of glass

Well display of handmade glasswork.Do drop by their cafe for the reknown big cream puff and milk tea. The decoration of the cafe is quite cosy though it was dark.

This particular shop has a larger web presence, but there actually are numerous little shops along these streets. I really liked Kitaichi, though. They had great glass dishes and decorations. I'd buy something again just to watch them wrap it!
