The main hall of Nijūsan’yasonkeiganji, next to the garden Howa’en, has exquisitely worked wooden sculptures crawling beneath its eaves and up its columns: a veritable menagerie of lions, dragons, elephants, and phoenixes.

Relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely worth it. It is a very serene place to take a quiet stroll. And the flowers were lovely.
