Excellent museum which showcases the entire NYK Maritime history for the past 130 years. Very nicely laid out and you can also pick up some souviners...

This is a small museum but is worth looking at as it gives a fantastic insight of Japan's growth to the advanced country it now is. The the displays are well laid out and are factual. Small museum where you can learn about the history of the Yokohama port and the opening of the port to foreign countries. Some volunteer guides that can express some explanation in English. Okay so I work on a cargo ship for a living so this might be far more interesting to me than the average person. However, for the price(400 yen +100yen Hikawa Maru Ship).
